A New Zealand friend, on the Pentax camera forum, posted a pic of braaibroodjies on his Weber kettle. He is formerly from South Africa where this sandwich is popular. Braai means barbecue.
Pretty simple, butter toasted bead with cheese, tomato, and onion inside. I used white cheddar, and one of the last tomatoes from our garden.
Pretty darn tasty, would be even better with some bacon of course.
edit to note, my friend ties his up with cross pieces of string, this makes sense when doing several at a time for easy flipping.
