So, I am about to start my next rehab. It was going to be a Gold B, but the frame was toast and the cook box was broken. I have another Gold B, but the cook box is also badly warped and the hole for the igniter electrode is corroding away for some reason. So, that cookbox is bad as well and the frame while solid, has quite a bit of surface rust on it which would require a lot of stripping and repainting. Then, I have a Silver C with the side burner that looks pretty good overall. I could transfer all the Gold B parts over to the Silver C frame and make it a Gold B or I could just rehab it as is (Silver C). Or, I could turn it into a Silver C, with the Stainless Gold lid. I guess that would make it a Gold C???? I just am kind of leery of dealing with those stainless Gold B lids and the liners. I guess the only difference between a Gold and Silver is the stainless lid vs porcelain?
I have another Silver B as well and it would be a pretty simple rehab, but those are all I have done so far this year and was thinking a little shake up in my routine would be nice.
So, what do you guys suggest.
1. Gold B
2. Gold C
3. Silver C (all original).
