Igniters

I got a new to me EP-330 a few months back. It's been preforming just great and I'm really enjoying having it. A few weeks ago, the igniter stopped working. I've replaced the batter, checked the connections, etc. Is there any maintenance or cleaning I should attempt on it before replacing it? I've seen these things going bad all the time, and I'm not sure how much of it is the product vs users not performing simple maintenance. Thanks.

Yep, that is what I have found with those newer battery igniters is that the little contact in the bottom of the igniter gets corroded. They just don't make them weather resistant enough.

Thanks guys! I got it looking pretty clean in there and it still wasn't kicking. Was getting frustrated when finally I thought: "Hmm, what about the negative contact?" Sure enough, it was a little gunked up. A few swipes with the sandpaper and it works like a charm. Appreciate your help.
