Peeled/trimmed is good in my book since the fat adds nothing, unless one eats it too.We get choice tri tip at Earth fare for $6.99 a pound usually. Unfortunately, it's trimmed. But it's SOOOOO much better than what we used to get at TJs!
Out here buying Tri-Tip is like buying bread ever one carry's it...Thanks for all that responded. I pay 2.99 - 3.99 for choice... 4.99 for veal Tri - Tip and 5.25 a pound for USDA Prime Tri- Tip. This is at a meat packing plant about a mile from àre house. Haven't shopped at Costco for years now just not economical for the two of us since it would be a 80 mile round trip. Thanks again guys
