I just picked up a CL 26.5 & it has a "haze" or "scuff" in several places on the lid.
I'm not sure what caused it. It appears to be many fine scratches.
Figured it would clean up easily. It won't.
I've tried steel wool, rubbing compound & etc. My last attempt was steel wool & chrome polish.
That helped a lot - at least I cannot "feel" the difference in the surface.
However, I can't get the areas to polish & blend with the surrounding porcelain.
Any Ideas on how to fix this?
I suppose I could live with the blemishes, but would rather not.
