What can I strip off the board for using only as a temp monitor?

So if I want to just build heatermeters to monitor temps and do nothing else, what parts can I strip from the board?

I'm thinking I should be able to delete:
Q1, Q3, Q5
R14, R13, R19, R21, R10, R12, R15
C7, C12
L1
D2
LED1, LED2, LED3

I'd mainly like to keep all the probes, LCD, and alarm buzzer.

Thanks!

These 8 boxes with the white dotted lines.

This should eliminate:

LEDs and associated resistors
Blower and Servo output section
Blower feedback resistors
Multi-direction button and associated resistors
Servo signal mosfet

Thanks! I'll have to run up some parts lists and see how much this saves, and figure out how to make the case with all those holes filled in for the A+ 2Line lcd.

Should we call it HM Lite or HM Basic? Lol.

I'd be surprised if it knocks the price down by more than $5 or so.

and half of that is from just the button.

Aaron, not sure why you would want to remove the components, as you are not really saving much from the build and if you were ever wanting to add the ability you would need to order them and pay the shipping.

I second what JohnB was saying... The parts you can eliminate will only add up to a tiny bit of savings... Unless you are going to eliminate the LCD or the rPi you're not gonna shave much off the price, so you might as well build the unit complete IMHO

I also agree that it's not worth it, considering it's eliminating a tremendous amount of functionality for a relatively small cost.
