    22.5, ATC, and Burn Time

I have a quick question for anyone with a 22.5" WSM and an ATC. I know that there are a lot of variables to consider, but about how long should I be able to maintain a temp of 250 for with a full ring of charcoal using an ATC?

    Guru adapter fit

Quick question about the guru adapter for the WSM: when mounting through the vent, is the adapter supposed to fit tight against both the wheel and the inside of the bowl? I tried several times, but couldn't get it to be tight on both sides. Is this a common problem, is it a problem? What...

    3rd Smoke Underway!

Hey all! I'm an hour and a half into my 3rd smoke. I'm doing 4 pork butts, for a total of near 29 lbs trimmed. I'm following the mustard and rub recipe in the cooking section but using a foiled saucer instead of water. Things seem to be going fairly well so far. My temp seems to have...

    Planning for a big cook

I'm planning to do a large cook for pulled pork a few days before my wedding in September. I have done one cook of three butts a few weeks ago when I first got my WSM. I'm wondering what I should expect if I plan on doing about 3 times that. I'm prepared for it to take more charcoal and more...

    Newbie from MA

Hi everyone! My name is Andrew and I live just outside of Boston, MA. I just wanted to stop in and say hi. I recently got a 22 inch for a wedding shower present. I have two cooks under my belt. My first was an overnight cook of three butts using the mustard and rub recipe, and the second...
