    Can't decide. 22 vs 18

The rendezvous ribs turned out really good! I prefer a long smoke but for the time allowed they do the trick. I have since cooked a couple of butts in it and man let me tell you I am impressed! The meat was excellent but what I love the most is the easy temp control! Combine that with the...

    Can't decide. 22 vs 18

By the way, my lid thermo is off 50 degrees according to the maverick. They shouldn't even put those in there!

    Can't decide. 22 vs 18

I am smoking some ribs right this second and once the midsection heated up the lid seemed to fit much better. I am having to do the high heat rendezvous recipe this time because the ole lady didn't want to wait 4-5 hours to eat tonight! But I had to get something cooking in this thing!! Too...

    Can't decide. 22 vs 18

Well I went with the 22.5"!! Just got it in today and put it together tonight. I love it already. It's a monster too! Huge! I did however have one small problem, the lid doesn't fit perfect. I can get it on without too much effort but it's not an exact fit. Just a little off I think. Anyone else...

    Can't decide. 22 vs 18

Thanks everyone! This site is great. So do you foil the clay saucers in the water pan? Are these specific to the cooker or whatever I can come up with? Like flower pots? Thanks again

Thanks everyone! All these replies are excellent!! Please keep them coming. Another question that I have is about these clay saucers that I keep hearing about. What are their benefits? Why would you use them instead of water and where can you get them? I'm leaning towards the 22.5" by the way...

    Can't decide. 22 vs 18

I occasionally cook for 20+ people, but my question is really about the heat and length of cook for the 22". Has anyone had any problems holding 225-250 with the big cooker? Do you usually have to refuel for a butt cook?

    Can't decide. 22 vs 18

Ok, I'm in the market for a WSM but I can't decide which one to get. The only thing holding me back on getting the big one is the test cooks that were done on this website. Especially the pork butt test cooks. The 22" cooker didn't seem to hold it's heat well at all falling down to 200 and...
