    VacMaster VP 112 vacuum sealer.

Quick follow up. Still loving the unit. Does a great job for what I need. I found an easy and inexpensive cover for it as I store mine in the garage. It's a weber q120 grill cover. Fits like a glove. Will post pictures if anyone is interested.

    Weber Lawsuit? *****

I got mine also. I would venture to say that they are sending emails to the people who registered their grill/smoker with weber.

    Minion method not burning evenly

Bottom vents at 10% may be a little restricting. Pack the lump and try bottom vents at 25% and see if that helps.

    VacMaster VP 112 vacuum sealer.

I am really loving this unit so far. I have done approximately 25 lbs of chicken thighs and breast. Two 20 lb turkeys and about 10 lbs of pulled pork. I have had three bad seals and they were my fault. I wasn't putting the bag on the seal strip correctly. There are a few techniques...

    VacMaster VP 112 vacuum sealer.

Have had a couple of days to play with the unit and first impression is excellent. Been sealing bags of water just because I can lol. Learning the proper position of the bag seems to be my biggest concern of getting a good seal. Making sure the bag is smooth across the seal bar is very...

    VacMaster VP 112 vacuum sealer.

Thanks for the feedback Ray. Discussion is always good. I wish I had learned more about the strip type sealers when I had my fs. I'm sure they would have lasted a little longer and had much less seal failures. Ordering today! Wish me luck lol .

    VacMaster VP 112 vacuum sealer.

I looked very long and hard at the Weston. It looks to be an excellent unit. I hate that Cabela's and Bass Pro sells a version without the fan for more money. The fan cooled unit seems would be a much better unit. I have used a fs for a long time and frozen liquids before vac sealing them...

    VacMaster VP 112 vacuum sealer.

Will do on the follow up review. I vacuum seal practically everything I smoke. I am a OAMC and am thinking the ability to vac seal liquids easier will be a very nice addition. Plus the chamber style bags are super cheap compared to the strip style sealer bags. Also the ability to play...

    VacMaster VP 112 vacuum sealer.

After having been through a few foodsavers I am very close to pulling the trigger on this sealer. VP 112 It is an entry level chamber style vacuum sealer. After doing quite a bit of research I am thinking this is the one for me. I was curious if any of you all have any personal...

I sold my Weber Genesis an now use my performer the majority of the time. That paired with a Weber Q120 with a lid thermo installed makes an excellent team.

How many chimney's of K Blue to reach 300.....

in a Weber 22" I usually fire off 2 full ones and only reach 250. I want 275 to 300 for chicken. Thinking about buying another chimney starter to do 3 full ones but wanted to make sure something else wasn't screwed up. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Different Technique between 22 and 18

I own both. Only difference is 18 is more fuel efficient and temp adjustments respond quicker on the 18 for me. My 18 is a little more air tight than my 22. Good luck!!
