Found 10# box of Jealous Devil large charcoal briquettes on clearance at Acadamy. In store only. 2.99 for 10# box. They said the boxes come unglued and JD is changing the packaging. I bought 8 boxes for $24.00, all they had. Good luck

Patch set seems to be gone now. Rats. I was an Eagle Scout and patch collector (back then). Would have liked to get this set.

After a few first cooks,I can’t recall ever using my water tray again. That was probably 10 years ago.

Meh…grillers circle has some unique things, but I wish they would throw a bone every now and then. Say some gloves, utensils, etc. I mean they use my time, why not say ’thanks’ ? Oh well. No biggie.

I ordered from Weber off the web site. You military? If so, I believe they used to offer 10% off (if I remember correctly for my purchase). But I just looked at Weber site….out of stock.

I’m just glad we have such a selection for mods and upgrades for our grills. I do like a heavy grate! I use ALOT of cast iron bowls-of all sizes on my grills. I like the fact I can sit a cast iron pot of chili on it and it doesn’t sag.

I can spin the killa grate…but don’t. I have the exact same set up in my Performer, been using it for about 5 years or so. I like the heavy grates, don’t feel or seem flimsy. I never cared for the Weber rack with the removable center-I still have an unused one on my Performer. When trying...

grapeseed on anything high heat. I even use it on all my grilled meats and veggies. No funky flavor, no smoke. Love it. Always have bacon grease on hand for that flavor (say Brussels sprouts-fried eggs).

Yeah but boat repair and operation & storage fee money will take away from your grill money, sanity, free time, mail order steaks. Buy a hot tub and set the E6 next to it. Year round water and grillin. At least that is what I did (After I sold my money pits, I mean boats). :ROFLMAO:

It is very efficient. I use lump in BGE and now my E6. Smoke on!

I rock Oofos sandals….slip on. I walk miles at a time for my job and when I get home, I slip into Oofos. very comfy.

I have the Kick Ash Basket for my BGE but replaced it with the BGE stainless charcoal basket. So, I was using the KAB for the E6 before I got the ArborFab custom unit.

It was an additional $50.00 for the custom build. Basically, $25 for the smaller diameter bottom and $25 for the shortened height since they had to adjust the shear on their machine. I was ok with that.

Just got my custom ArborFab WSM charcoal grate. Ordered a basket 15” 3/8 x 5” tall and it fits perfect! This will work quite nicely. I believe my upgrades are complete for the moment. Will be using ceramic half moons for heat deflectors when needed (don’t really care for the Weber diffuser...
