This may be a long shot but does anyone know where I can get either a new left side shelf (or the gray shelf end cap) for a Genesis E310? I called Weber this morning and they do not have any. Here is my broken one:

Grilled a nice marinated teriyaki pork loin last night, which was very tender, moist and delicious. It went well with spuds and broccoli.

Looking for a front panel to finish a restoration project on a Genesis 1000. The front panel attaches to the frame in two places and hides the front burner tube from view. Please let me know if you have a spare or a source for one. Thanks!

It has been awhile since we did steak kabobs so we grilled them tonight. The stew meat we went with proved y be tough despite the marinade. Will do tri tip next time.

Smoked a meatloaf, baked beans and some taters yesterday while watching some college football.

Yesterday was my last chance to practice my ribs before the next BBQ Comp next weekend in Shawnee Kansas in a field of about 85 teams. I was pleased with appearance and taste but not thrilled with tenderness. I did not inject them and maybe should have. Any suggestions to get them tender?

Decided to do some baby back ribs in the 22” wsm last night to take to the lake this weekend to share with family. I had not smoked ribs in four months so it was nice to do them again. They turned out very tender and good.

Recently smoked a 10# brisket, a 9# pork butt and a half pan of baked beans with our oldest son. Everything turned out real good. Probably the best baked beans we have done so far. Our son loves doing those. No picture of the finished pork butt.

Decided to give our niece and her husband their first grill…our 2005 Weber Summit 450, which should serve them well for years to come. We replaced it on our patio with a Genesis 1000 that Jeff Gaylord at Independence Porcelain Enamel re-enameled the lid to Glen Blue.

It has been awhile since I used the rotisserie so thought spinning a pork loin sounded good. The wife said it was my best one so far and our son (who doesn’t like pork) even liked it.

The wife and I were very happy with how this pork loin turned out this evening. It was as soft and moist as a filet mignon.

A huge thanks to Jeff Gaylord at Independence Porcelain Enamel (IPE) for customizing my 22” WSM in time for the first competition of the year this weekend. Also a shout out to Zavod for the custom wood handles and lid air vent tab within a very short timeframe.

Is anyone else going to be in this competition? I know the field of 72 teams is full and wondering if any forum members other than myself will be participating?
