Question about putting this together EX6

I’m using the BILT app and I selected smokefire 2022. I’m at the part though where I take the panel off to get to what I think is going to be the glow plug. On the BILT app though the screws to take out are on the sides and on mine they are Phillips screws on the back of the panel. Also when I...

    New here, just got EX6

Thank you all for the welcome. I have been reading and I see that most people use a drip pan for most low temp cooks. That means you aren't able to use the flavorizer bars or are they just for high heat cooks?

    Use of a drip tray

If you use the drip pans doesn't that take away the flavorizer bars use? Or are they for mainly hotter cooks?

    New here, just got EX6

Hello thanks! I currently have a weber gas grill and a PBC (Pit Barrel Cooker). I've also had a BGE, a Yoder and a Camp Chef pellet smoker years ago. I found that I never had as much time as I thought to be able to use these other ones so I ended up selling them. So I have used pellet and...

    New here, just got EX6

My new Smokefire will be here Tuesday. I just went with the regular EX6 because I didn’t think I needed the extras the stealth and sear plus had. I tried searching this forum to see if there was anything I needed to do before my first cook. I couldn’t find any results but I might have not used...

There were no listings at all anywhere near me. I'd love to have one for $169

New Weber grill....question about sear station and quality

Thanks, according to brickseek there are none available anywhere near me. I could definitely live with one of those for that price though....darn I did notice that Walmart is cheaper at $699 on it. If that price of $749 at the other place was correct.

New Weber grill....question about sear station and quality

I actually like the open cart design. Less to fail but I could see where some people would want enclosed to protect things from the elements. I'll be using mine under a covered porch so I actually like the open design better than the Napoleon closed in bottom.

New Weber grill....question about sear station and quality

I looked at the E-310 and for $749 (at least thats what I think they were asking, I didn't talk to anyone) I didn't think it was a real good value. They did not have an E-330 to look at. I'm kind of comparing the 310 to the Napoleon 485 LEX which was $899. I've never owned a Napoleon or...

New Weber grill....question about sear station and quality

Thank you Chris. I appreciate the input. I actually like the open cart design. Less things to break and rust out etc. That's where my saber was getting bad also, was inside the storage areas. My old Weber, I can't remember the model, was open underneath and I never wished I had it enclosed...
