    Mike Mills Magic Dust Rub and Apple City bbq sauce

    I have used Magic Dust on the few smokes that I have done. From eating at his restaurants his rub there is salty/spicy. I'll have to make some from the recipe and see how it compares.

    My first smoke

    Smoker is getting dirty, smoke #2 is in progress. Started 2 Boston Butts at 10 am. Will use later this week for Pork Carnitas. I am taking the butts to my parents for my sister's birthday. pictures to follow.

    I smoked two 5 pound chickens today, thus my 18.5 is no longer new. I had some temp problems, let it get high then brought it back low. Finally ended my 3.75 hour cook where I wanted to be. Not too bad to control, easier than my kettle. I will be smoking 2 butts on Saturday. I will have...
