I agree with you totally what good are these comparisons when the Weber is not even available yet nor anyone yet cooking on it. Is the pid controller more accurate on the Weber, does it produce better smoke than the Pit boss which smoke as I have said before is subjective my wife does not care...
Neither Costco near me sells liquor it is not because they don't want to but and every state is different but in GA.
"§ 3-4-21, no person shall be issued more than two Retailer of Distilled Spirits licenses, nor shall any person be permitted to have a beneficial interest in more than two...
Larry anyone can get a bad steak it happens. I did a ribeye roast choice from Costco for Christmas everyone loved it me not so much would rather have a steak.
In regards to your statement about if the choice grade looks right a few months ago at Costco I was debating whether to buy just for a change the prime ribeyes always buy choice could have actually been filets cannot remember. So the meat guy was restocking and I had the package of choice...
I am also hard to justify it for 2 of us but the price is really good if you ask me maybe they are finally getting smart they are undercutting the Traeger Flatrock by a few hundred bucks its a bit smaller but not really that much so don't think that is an issue. ABT has it for $649 so its more...
Not sure just having fun where you are coming up with $1500 for the big T. They have plenty of pellet grills under $1k want to go entry level here you go for $499.

To be fair to Traeger and I have no skin in the game I would think its a reach IMO since Z Grills stopped doing anything with them in 2016 to say what you stated of all the stuff or other parts as the Z Grills since I assume maybe a bad assumption that Traeger certainly could of made...
I don't believe Z Grills makes anything for Traeger and have not for awhile.
Z Grills was originally a manufacturer of pellet grills for several top brands in this industry. The Z Grills brand was founded in 2016 and has quickly become one of the most respected brands in pellet grills.
The new owners are the same as the old owners. BDT Capital Partners, even when Weber was briefly a public company BDT had basically a controlling interest.
I had no interest either but if the Searwood performs with good reviews might be one at my house in the summer we will see. Much as I hate to say it if that happens the Performer heads to Facebook Marketplace let someone else enjoy it has a slow n sear deluxe stainless grates and the metal...
Yes that is the beauty of being private nobody can see your numbers. You can buy market share give up profits for the short term and as Chucko said if it sells well raise the price and make more money. Hard to do that when your public cause even not breaking out pellet grills for example which...
Lots of us who have rehabbed old Genesis grills with cast aluminum cook boxes and I have a Silver C from 2005 would consider the cook box made with cast aluminum to be a plus. PK charcoal grills very respected brand are made out of cast aluminum also.
Both the Weber SmokeFire EX4 and larger EX6 feature double sidewall construction. However, the lid is not insulated, and neither is it insulated underneath the combustion zone.
I would wait also in case anyone missed it Steve from the UK posted a Weber promo for the Searwood:

The funny thing is I can already see reviews saying the side burner does not work cause some or many don't know you need induction cookware. How many people have that lying around not many unless you have already have an induction cooktop in the kitchen. So figure another 40 bucks and up to...
