    I am finally going to try to attach this device which I bought 2 years ago to my 18" WSM. If anyone has this, can you please give me tips on attaching it to the vents, and what position should the vents be when using it. Also anything else that would be helpful. Thank you

    Where I live it is very hard to find Beef Bacon, Walmart has some garbage that they call beef bacon. So I decided why not make my own. I used 10lb of Beef Navel. Cured for 8 days. Smoked for 4.5 hours at 200 degrees until it hit a IT of 150.
