I got an email from Rec Tec about a redesigned Matador coming out although it's not a smoker. Also their 590 and 340 don't have a stack, they have back slots. Need to buy deflectors to use it in the rain.

The main reason for me wanting a pellet smoker is so I don't have to get up every few hours at night to check the WSM. Isn't the point of a pellet smoker to make smoking set and forget?

Just want to thank all the early buyers, helps those of us that are in the market for a pellet grill. I was planning on comparing the Rec Tec, which I'll be seeing shortly, with the Weber. No need for that now so my decision is just to pick the size of grill I want.

Thanks for the info. My problem is downloading, so if folks files I get are in the smaller file size it's my issue, not the forums.
