Actually there is a workaround for that. I forgot what it is exactly. Since I don't griddle but it will work

    Frame restoration help

Yes it is. But it's worth every penny if actually "stopping" rust is your goal. Because I'm here to tell ya that stuff turns it all rock hard. I've got some spots on my garage floor where I spilled some after shooting my old Infiniti QX4 full of it almost 10 years ago. I can't chisel it off...

    Griddle For Genesis Silver B

OK so this is the "forum help" thread IOW software help. But, it looks like that is an entire griddle not just the "pan" portion. So it's made specifically to fit that entire appliance. FWIW that price is excellent for a griddle

Tired of running multiple water filter systems

So that stuff stays on the bit so I would not have to have oil dripping on it constantly?

Old heroes never die, they just get newer lawn mowers.

Not this year but as some know since I documented the journey here a few years ago I finally acquired a Kubota Diesel tractor. The next year I tore it down to the frame and did a minor restoration. Geez talk about work. The deck alone weighs as much as my previous Honda 4514 all together and...

Tired of running multiple water filter systems

I never heard of thread cutting wax. Figured I'd just use a bit of oil. Thing is then it will take 2 people. One to do the drilling and one to drizzle oil. Ugh.

I didn't know they made one that doesn't have the connect feature.

Tired of running multiple water filter systems

Well the new system came today. Bigger and heavier than I expected or thought it would be. I don't think I am gonna start on installing this week. Think I'll wait until next week :D I have to rethink the plumbing under the sink, enlarge the hole for the faucet from 1/2" to 1" Need best advice...

Have to agree. Especially with heavier grit discs. Angle grinders can be way over powering for finer detail work.

60 grit on a flapper is gonna leave some pretty bad marks and grooves. I think I would no go more than 120 for the heavier then finish with a finer product

    Frame restoration help

So I've tried the Rust Reformer product. It's MEH at best. Seems to allow rust to easily come back. Unless you really get after it with a good primer. Eastwood simply stops it dead in it's tracks. However again, while you CAN use the Eastwood and then treat it as a primer. I honestly feel it's...

Honestly I dislike wire wheel for that type of thing. A sander will give you a much nicer finish
