I've only seen different sweep on Silver/Gold valves.Hey, Chris, it's been noted that some valves have a different sweep (range of rotation). In the case of a complete valve, maybe post a picture of the control panel so you get the right one to match the others?
That may be true, but from what I am seeing, people are looking for replacement valves for Chris that have been taken off of grills many years ago. It's an easy thing to check and might save someone the time, trouble, and cost of shipping. Or not.I've only seen different sweep on Silver/Gold valves.
Here is the valve picture. I purchased a new valve. Here is the link. Do you think it would work?Hey, Chris, it's been noted that some valves have a different sweep (range of rotation). In the case of a complete valve, maybe post a picture of the control panel so you get the right one to match the others?
Yeah I saw that as well but the stem is certainly long enough to do the jobI don't know. That add clearly states that it would fit a Silver B.
"Fits a variety of Weber models:
2006 and older Weber Grills with control knobs located on the right hand side table, which includes various Genesis I-V, 1000-5000, Gold B/C, Silver A and Spirit 500/700 models."
That valve will not fit a Silver or Gold B/C or A grill. It does look like it might fit a Genesis 1000-5000 grill however, but who knows given the description. Your best bet would be to find a used replacement that you know is from a Genesis 1000 grill.
