INO: Weber Genesis 1000 LP valve cap


 
Hey, Chris, it's been noted that some valves have a different sweep (range of rotation). In the case of a complete valve, maybe post a picture of the control panel so you get the right one to match the others?

Here is the valve picture. I purchased a new valve. Here is the link. Do you think it would work?

I don't know. That add clearly states that it would fit a Silver B.

"Fits a variety of Weber models:
2006 and older Weber Grills with control knobs located on the right hand side table, which includes various Genesis I-V, 1000-5000, Gold B/C, Silver A and Spirit 500/700 models."

That valve will not fit a Silver or Gold B/C or A grill. It does look like it might fit a Genesis 1000-5000 grill however, but who knows given the description. Your best bet would be to find a used replacement that you know is from a Genesis 1000 grill.

Yeah I saw that as well but the stem is certainly long enough to do the job
