    I cringe when I see people do that. That cement is eventually going to chip away at the enamel on the rim of the lid and cause rust.

    18" top grill poor fit

    I'd imagine that your center section is prob just slightly out of round. Take a tape measure and use it to see where it is oblong, then gently squeeze it back to a perfect circle. The grate should sit more secure now. The lid and base might need to be tweaked too.

    Might also consider that snapping them off may leave burs which could scratch the enamel.

    Condensation inside WSM?

    If your sure it's not rain water, then you could either remove the door, or open some of the vents to allow air to flow through it and help dry it out. just would have to worry about critters.

    Weber sells a 22.5" stainless grate. Here is the link: http://store.weber.com/parts/detail/charcoal/enclosed-ash-catcher/1117 It doesn't specifically list the WSM as being compatible, so unless the 22.5" WSM top grate is different than the 22.5" OTG you should be good with this one, although...
