    Performer Deluxe Restoration

Truly amazing what you did with that lowly looking Performer after you picked it up. Wow! I'm with Steve too on that vintage , but what you did to it is what it should have looked like all along from Weber! The all back look with hammered metal long blending with the table is stunning! I can...

I will just leave this here

Can't beat project delivery! That one looks almost as much of a project as my original Q100 last year. Hose looks the same as one I have now

I enjoyed both of my Performers, accept the plusses of charcoal vs gas arguments, but for me it was time to move on to easier/simpler and I finally caved to pellets! No regrets

That would be a museum piece-wouldn't ever want to cook on it!

As I've found, Josh, you can get some real deals if you're patient, but selling is another thing! That table top looks great btw. I'm with Jim on the chimney starter, always thought the gas on my old 98 was something I didn't need. I'm with Josh though-gassers or now poopers, charcoal is too...

    Pellets

I've been happy with the Sam's comb blend so far, and they are a 40 3 bag! Great 3 way smoke flavor.

    Spirit E-310 2024 versus 2025

Todd, I can echo Jon's comments as I recently refurbed a Q320 and sold to a neighbor who loves it! You'd be hard pressed to do better, plus it has ss grates on it and ready to go. Much better grill than a 210-I started off this hobby with one before getting my A. Loved the fold down tables, but...

Costco has Genesis II e335s for $699 again

Could be Costco specific on the grates, Larry, I know what he means I've seen it out here. Probably "loss leaders" or blowouts by Weber. They're ss but not the high quality of by RCP grates for sure. I think with Costco everything is regional anyway. What I've seen out here doesn't apply...

    Jewish style St Pats dinner

My grandmothers were both from Ireland, and always specified the "gray" cb, never the red. Probably associated it more with England! I always thought it tasted better though-out here you never find it, last time I had it was in New England. My annual St Pats Day now incorporates Guiness.

Genesis ii S-345 (Night Sear Edition)

I knew something big was coming-wow indeed!! The blackout look is the new standard! I agree with Jon hold fast. Amazing!

I like that little table! Thanks Josh but I'm good-already have a nice 2 burner. I remember when they came out and I could have had it cheap with wife's discount; also wouldn't use the side burner.

    Not mine SS Performer $60

I like it! Would be a unique, different project and bring out the best in both worlds. The new PB seems to hit it right in a lot of areas and the price puts it over the top I think. All reviews I've seen have been good so far. Only drawback of that old frame is its weight, meaning it wouldn't...

    Not mine SS Performer $60

Maybe you can buy Horsman's when he's done with it and save $$! Good idea I think. Either that or a used Bullseye!

    $12 Q1200 Restore & Donate

Unreal the Q deals you get up there! It looks better than new.

    Not mine SS Performer $60

Reminds me of my 1998 SSI that was the reason I got into this hobby and found this forum, to which I'm forever thankful. Moved it out here in 2018 and enjoyed for several years, but turned it for a nice profit eventually. Was a very heavy frame for sure, not easy to move around and the ignition...
