    We raised cattle. Our 'house meat' was custom raised on a strict diet. My dad did a lot of cookouts both steak and BBQ. If you asked for sauce, you most likely weren't going to be invited back!

    Popcorn

    I cook it 4-5 nights a week. Brown Kraft lunch bag. 1/3 cup of kernels. No oil of any kind. Fold the top closed. Microwave until it almost quits popping. Melt some real butter and pour over it. Shake a little salt. Easy, no extra chemicals. Tasty!

    BBQ Guru

    I have one on my 18.5 WSM and it works great. I use the offset most of the time and just don't use the WSM much any more. I would consider selling mine. It's just a few months old and has been kept indoors when not being used. PM me if interested.

    Grill Cleaner or best way

    I do it the same way as you. Have done it that way for years with excellent results. Often will also give the grates a quick brushing after bringing the grill up to temp for a cook.

    Cooking bacon a day ahead

    Doesn't really need to be hot. Bacon at room temperature tastes fine to me as long as the eggs and pancakes are hot. I often cook up the entire pound and store the leftovers in a ziplock in the frig to eat during the rest of the week.
