If there WAS such a thing, would you buy it???

I would not buy one. It is not difficult to close the vents, plus you would not have the option to cook without an ATC. I do not always use the ATC and I have heard of the ATC's not working.

    used 18.5

If it is more of a dent than out of round, you can get a block of wood, piece of 2x4, etc and a hammer and beat it out - from the inside out. Put the block of wood flat against the bent area and hit with the hammer. Start with fairly light hits to see what happens and then hit a little harder...

    Seasoning your smoker?

Got my first 18 1/2 leveled off at 225. Put on a pound of cheap bacon (do not separate, leave clumped together). Played 18 holes of golf. Came back, took it off and put on some chicken. The chicken turned out great, and as an unexpected bonus, the bacon was good too. Later got a new 22...

    Nasty WSM Worth Saving?

I know some are against washing, but I would scrub it with a stiff plastic brush and soap. You may want to replace the grills or try a steel brush first. Then burn it off as suggested, maybe the wood would not be needed, but go as high as you can with charcoal - vents all open. Just noticed...

    WSM smoker AND traditional grill?

One option would be to buy a 22.5 Kettle for grilling and buy a Cajun Bandit conversion kit for smoking. http://cajunbandit.com/ I have not used one, but originally considered this option, but did not need the grill.

    18.5" WSM For Sale

I have a 18.5” Weber Smokey Mountain I will be selling. It’s about 10 years old, but in good shape. I have two 18.5's and a 22.5 ordered - have been told to get rid of one. The smoker has a 3rd grill rack added between the upper and lower racks. It has the nomex seals on the top and bottom...
