I let most of them get lit in the chimney then pour them evenly. over the charcoal grate. I think I am not getting optimal airflow. Even when I clean the 3 wheel it seems to smoke more while the one touch does not.

Hello I have a 22" One Touch and a 18 3 wheel. It seems like the 22.5 gets a much higher temperature which is good for steaks. Am i missing something to gets the 3 wheel up to searing hot? Both using a full chimney of fuel, it seems the 22 gets much hotter.
