I just got my 18.5 wsm yesterday , and put it together early this morning . All parts were packaged except one of the small washers ( non meteal one ) the one that goes against the cooking chamber . Does anyone know what it is made of , I need to see if I can get one at local hardware store ...

Just curious if anyone knows the height of the 18.5 mid section , need to know if it will fit under the cargo hatches in back of pickup . As owning a Chevy avalanche can be a pain to transport stuff in the back with the cargo hatches in place . Any info appreciated , this place rocks , still...

Well my appliance guy just called , my 18.5 will be in tomorrow , just in time for the weekend . Guess you could say , I`m as happy as a pig in you know what , and thats whats gunna be the first run , a few Boston Butts .:wsm:

Sucklebusters Hog Waller , Hoochie Mama , and Competition rub , for store brands . But mostly use my own that I have developed .

I use sucklebusters Origanal bbq sauce or the Peach bbq sauce or the honey bbq sauce .

Hey Jeff , I`m in south Boston , have the wsm 22 , also waiting for my 18 to arrive . If you ever this way give me a shout and I would be glad to let you look it over . I couldn`t find a store with either one to look at before buying , so I just ordered the 22 , then decided to get the 18 also ...

Thanks for the welcomes guys . Been so busy at work doing double shifts haven't had time to fire up the new 22 wsm . Hopefully this weekend is the first fire up and cook .

Hey neybah , welcome to the forums . Great people here with tons of info . The 18 WSM sounds like the right choice for you , but the 22 is also a great choice . which ever one you get , you will enjoy it . Jeff

I ordered my 22.5 on 5/16/13 at about 10 am from local appliance store that carry`s them , had it next day at 11:30 am . Now I just ordered the 18.5 today , that's a different story , it`s on back order , no date of arrival as of yet .
