    Favorite BBQ sauce

I also prefer to make mine but when I do grab a store bottle it is usually KC masterpiece or even bullseye original. I used to like a brand called Texas' best with a gold label but it seems not to be available around here no more.

New Copper One Touch Silver Available

I'm pretty certain the box I saw in the back was a OTG but the floor model I saw yesterday was a silver, so for now I cant be absolutely positive. BTW the color on the one I saw was nothing special like the copper kettles a few years back, more of a flat metallic brown

    Weber performer colors?

It is a nice red for sure, I saw it in person at Ace this weekend... it was called "brick red". I would buy a smokey in this color in a heartbeat if it were offered here.

    Maple wood rules!

I did see some maple chips and chunks at the Ace hardware hear in Henderson just this weekend. Maybe your Ace has some as well.

    Hamburger Patty Maker

Hi Glenn, the only way I am accustomed to making patties is to weigh out equal amounts meat then add in seasonings and hand form the patties myself. I have seen patty forms at Bed Bath & Beyond stores (not sure if they have those in Canada) but Im sure you could locate a bunch of them online.

    Another leg mod.

I really like this mod too! very cool looking with the "offroad" wheels. Might have to be a future project. Gotta say it took me awhile to notice the Raider stickers on the toolbox to Know what you guys were talking about

    "Woody"

Shaun, are the originals more worthy than that of the rebuild kit? I have an older red kettle (F) that has all the parts but the legs are a little wobbly and the bottom triangle is all rusted so I was thinking of ordering the kit from Weber. The ash sweeper rod is also rusted badly and was...

    Estate Sale Find

That sure is an excellent find! Now I have to start combing garage and estate sales but the likelyhood of finding one like that is probably pretty rare. It sure would be nice if Lodge started making them again...

Shaun, Just wanted to say how much I love the look of your grill. Are those wheels Weber or are they wheels from an old wagon (radio flyer) or something. I have to get me some of those...

    access door knob

Thanks guys, I have the older model WSM with the round door knob. It was so tight and gunked up that it did not want to break free but with persistence I eventually got it off. My new door needed a little bendin' n fudgin' to make it fit properly. Love the new look... now if only my new...

    access door knob

Hello gents, I just recieved my new door from cajun bandit and I was trying to get the knob off my old door but I cant seem to get a wrench on the nut because the clearance is so thin. Do I need to turn that nut or is there a better way?

    Thermometer install questions

Thanks for the tip Ken. I pretty much assumed I would have to but I thought I would check with the experts first. What really concerns me is rapping on a punch with a hammer to center punch a small dent in the surface. I figure as long as the surface chipping is smaller than the diameter of the...

    Thermometer install questions

Hello gents, For those of you who have drilled a hole in your beloved WSM, is it necessary to drill a pilot hole first or can you just start out using a unibit. Also which website is the best place to order a Tel-tru therm from? I have read that Tel-tru manufacturing can take ages to get one to...
