Neither did i. I had to call and request it because it was too difficult to install the new firebox by myself. I have the rotisserie gas line and that was causing a big issue.

They honored the warranty for the fire box burn issue,and they even covered for a local Weber service person to swap it out. My summit was purchased back in 2010. Was replaced sometime between 17-19.

Yeah we love ours. Got a really good deal for it. People that come over say the same thing and a couple of them wind up buying their own
