I had the same complaint on my 14.5 so I used tie wire to attach the grate to the ring.

Pulled Pork When There's No Time

Used my IP recently when I found a 2# tri tip from 2014 in the bottom of the freezer to make a killer pepper stout beef recipe. After a quick smoke, cooked in the IP for 35 minutes with a little beef stock, then added my veggies and cooked for another 10 minutes, let it cool down, emptied into a...

To Grind or Not to Grind

I use it and do not grind it. I use it when I make the BRITU rub mainly for pork cooks. It does not seem to burn. But because of the granular size, it tends to settle out some, so I shake often to keep it mixed.

Does anyone know the years that the Q120 were produced?

If the price is right, age shouldn't be an issue. What shape is the cooking grate in? Does it look clean to you? If needed, replacement parts are available. Those Q's are a pretty good cooking machine and are pretty portable. The Q forum has tons of cooks on those Q's.

    Help choosing size

Craig- i own all 3 sizes, but unless I do a big cook for the family, the 14.5 gets the most use for my wife and I. If I were to do it again, I would stick with just the 14.5 and 18.5.

Pork Loin on a new WSM 14

Some probably did, but it looks terrific and sounded that the taste was right on, and not a bad thing that it had a pbc taste. Your 14.5 is a great cooking machine.
