    Pati Jinich had an episode of her PBS show where they talked about how carne asada is super popular in parts of northern Mexico. Like barbecue, the term describes the food and the social gathering. Apparently, the folks there throw a carne asada every chance they get. Looked like a blast.

    I bought some stock a few weeks after the IPO. At the arranged sale price, I’ll lose enough to have paid for a nice new grill or smoker. Lesson learned. Mutual funds tend to do great for me, but when I get “smart“ and buy an individual stock it is doomed to failure.

    You got a heckuva bargain on your WSM. I paid full price for mine, but it has been well worth it over many years of good cooking. And I know at least 3 folks who bought one after eating with us. Enjoy yours!

    I like grilling Veggies too

    Looks tasty. I like to do the same. I used to oil the veg before putting them on, but they tended to just get soggy. Followed a Sam the Cooking Guy video and grilled to get char marks and grill flavor before hitting with a "brushing sauce" at the end.
