    A little Mother's Day brisket

    So inquiring minds want to know... Started off with a 12 lbs brisket (smaller than my usual). Salt, pepper and garlic rub. Smoked on WSM 22.5 with hickory and oak wine barrel chunks (from Marynissen so there's the wine tie in), no water in pan I use sand. 4.5 hours at 250, sprits with apple...

    Rib Roast FAIL.....or Maybe I Just Don't Like Smoked Beef

    I have done prime rib on the WSM and kettle with success. I used the snake method on the kettle. On the WSM I removed the waterpan but had a foil pan on the bottom rack to allow greater heat. Both were excellent.

    Expanding the Weber Family

    Ha! Good job. Good BBQ dads think alike. My son is away at university and at the start of the year said he missed my steaks. So I gave him one of my habachis. After he told me he made pulled pork for the Super Bowl in the stove he wished our Webers with him. So dad goes out and surprises him...
