    Smoke Shack enclosures?

I'm trying to justify a new and larger deck with a roof so the old deck surface isn't a big issue. I also like having the extra area when the lump starts popping in the chimney. When it comes to maybe burning down the house. A little overkill is not a bad thing me thinks.

    Smoke Shack enclosures?

Thanks for the info guys. Most definately powered vents. But have decided not to go this route. Just not much bang for the buck. I am going to save my money and build a bigger deck with a roof on it and have one corner with some kind of wind break. For now I will put a lean to type canopy...

    Smoke Shack enclosures?

I'll be putting a vent roof in and some kind of air intake towards the bottom. Just enough to keep air circulating.

    Smoke Shack enclosures?

Thanks Travis... It's more deep than it is long. Our local lowes has one but the door is screwed shut. I may go down there with my lids and my metal pan that I sit the lids on when they are off the cookers and see how much room I have to work with. I already have concrete pavers to cover the...

    Smoke Shack enclosures?

I am wanting some kind of protection for my two Weber's when I am doing a smoke. I am thinking about trying one of These but not sure what the heat might do to it. Has anyone used this type of enclosure? I am sure I would have to ventilate it properly but it would also be good just to throw a...

can not get to stoker off of network

Try hooking up your stoker with an ethernet cable directly into your router and then go through the setup. That was the biggest problem I had was with the wireless bridge. It was iffy at best. I could see it on my home network but couldn't acess it from anywhere else. Once I set it up with...

can not get to stoker off of network

Are you using a game adapter or are you wired directly to your router using an ethernet cable?

    Remember to always be safe!

I have lit my chimney starters at least a dozen times over the past year using the metal pan from the parts store as a heat shield. I don't believe it's ever been as hot as it was yesterday when I tried it. I kept smelling burning cedar. Thought a piece had found it's way into my charcoal bag...

    Transporting WSM's?

What's the best way you have found to take your WSM's to competitions? Do you just leave them together or seperate the pieces? I bet the van smells good!! Thanks Harry for the Q&A session.

    Ordered my Stoker Today!

I get the numebers in the stoker log from the stoker UI. No problems there but what I was trying to do was to view the stokerlog over the internet. Not sure if there is a way to do that or not. Haven't had time to mess much with it tonight. I'm in girl scout cookie **** trying to divide...

    Ordered my Stoker Today!

Thanks so much Rob for the detailed help. I used the 80 80 in the port range and visited the "whatsmyip.org" web site to find out my router address. Typed that into a browser from a off network computer and also tried my iphone and brought up my stoker web UI page. SWEET!!! I haven't...

    Ordered my Stoker Today!

So I didn't get to play with my Stoker and stokerlog until today. Spent most of the day tinkering with it and love it. Hoping to do the first cook with them this week. I have everything pretty much ironed out except the port forwarding. I can't see my stoker page from outside the network...

Need Help Clarifying Wireless set-up Design

I'm just learning about this also Tim but if I understand correctly, if there is a wireless network at the competition then you can use the wireless bridge to hook to their network and then to you laptop. Otherwise I assume you hook the stoker to the laptop with an ethernet cable. Or you if...
