Cheapest and most expensive gallon of gas in your life time

Cheapest was .15/gallon when I pumped gas as a teenager at a former local Clark station. I remember the owner getting upset and saying if gas dropped another penny he was going to lock the doors until the insanity stopped. We actually had gas price wars back then - in the 60s and very early 70s...

Really nice cook Jim, but the freezing beer indicates you're drinking it too slow!

    2015 Surf n' Turf

You're braver than I am, if my wife grills New York Strips and Lobster I'm going to fill my mouth with it and be quiet. Lobster in the shell or not, salad in a bowl or not, I'm staying quiet and eating! :D

First time using the Maverick on Kettle

So do you like your new Maverick? I've been thinking about getting one of these. I've never had Turkey Meatloaf, sounds good, how do you make it?

    Stuffed Mushrooms (Smoked Chuck)

My wife just said she'd have to see them in person in order to know if they were good or not, just too hard to tell from just a picture??? Is she trying to con someone into making these????? They look good enough to eat to me!

Chicago Bears Fire Phil Emory and Marc Trestman

I can't figure Cutler out. He's doing what millions of others would love to do, making a ton of money doing it, and he still always looks unhappy to me, even when things are going good. If I were on his team he would not be the kind of leader that would give me confidence and make me want to try...

what are the differences in the WSMs, old to new?

Many WSM owners don't put water in the water pan, and use a different medium for temp control. After all that's what the water is for, to help keep the temperature spikes to a minimum and the overall temp at a steady rate. I don't use water, I use 2 clay plant pot plates, some use sand, and some...

    New 22.5 Smokey Mountain

Congrats on that new big bad boy! Throw something in it and start cooking! If it ain't broke- it ain't broke! Some people like the gasket material, but I've read some posts where after people applied the gasket material they had to open their vents more. Well duh!! The thing needs to breathe and...

Weber kettle barbeque Santa Maria style attachment

No worries about tipping, it rides in the tracks on both sides! And just think about how big a piece of meat you can put on there and not worry about springing your wrist or throwing your back out!

What size clay saucer for the 18.5 WSM (New Model with deep water pan)

I use 2 of the 12" saucers sitting in the water bowl. I used to foil the saucers but I have decided it is just as easy to clean the saucers as it is to deal with the messy foil. The saucers work great and I've never wanted to go back to water in the bowl.

Need help - I've lost my water pan and can't get up

Here's a website that sells Weber parts, you may be able to get the bowl from them: http://www.ereplacementparts.com/weber-charcoal-grill-parts-c-193079_193086.html?gclid=CJvnkqiGhr0CFaw-MgodJlcAaw They have a pretty complete listing of Weber grills and parts, good luck!

    restyle WSM

The nice thing about any perceived flaws in the Webers is that they give us a reason to tinker and accessorize! And thanks to Cajun Bandit and others we are able to modify and improve our grills and smokers to make them ours and to perform better. A big part of the fun I receive from being part...

    Rotator Wings

Jim, it looks like it's safe to say that you really like your new rotisserie accessory? The wings look great. Any concern about the center rack of wings not cooking at the same rate as the outside racks?

Rotisserie turkey or don't sweat the technique

Looks like you got a great "bark" on that turkey, seriously that was a good way to recover from the surprise when you checked the grill!

    Pimp My 26.75" Kettle

Whats your ideas for shelves or side tables? I like the idea of folding SS shelves, fabricating a way to attach them to the angled legs is the hang up for now. I'm bouncing some ideas around in my head but I want to be able to use off the shelf available hardware to do it. I think it can and...
