    Apple Pie Ribs?

Has anyone heard of baby backs with an apple pie rub/crust? A buddy had some at a party and said they were excellent but I'm not sure how much he was drinking. I think the apple w/pork makes sense but was just wondering if any of you masters had experimented with this?

    Lets talk beer *****

I'm a huge fan of hoppy pale ales but in the summer heat on the patio w/the smoker I lean more to the lighter side. Heineken or Oberon Wheat Ale from Bell's.

I was supposed to be on vacation in Hilton Head but my sweetie got sick so we'll be staying home. Gives me the chance to grill and chill so I'll be trying my first brisket tomorrow, probably lobster tails on Sunday and Baby Backs for Monday. Oh... And cold beer!

Another bottom rack vs. top rack queastion

I guess the best thing to do if you're not monitoring temperature at both levels would be to rotate top to bottom at appx. Halfway through your cook.

    Roadside Chicken

Any recipe w/24 pages of raves has got to be tried. I've got 5 boneless/skinless breasts marinating now. Still trying to decide if I gas 'em or lump 'em. Weather doesn't look great today so probably gassed. Thanks for all the great advice!

Great looking plate! I just got some Blues myself and really enjoy it. Also got the Tennessee vinegar based sauce which is very good!
