rode hard, put up wet (water in wsm after rain)

It would seem to me that IF the center section is cool enough to grab and flip upside down then it would be cool enough to put the cover on.

    Adding Wood Chips

Hi, When I use wood in my Summit 470 I'm always using indirect heat to extend the time the smoke can soak in to the meat. Why? Because gas grills are designed to pass lots of air though the grill. However, you can still achieve a nice smoke taste. The affect may not be as intense as with a...

    1st Brisket

Well, My Wife told me that the Brisket was the BEST that she ever had! Really, I said? You are from Texas and you say it's that best? Wow! I'm so glad my wife supports me in my cooking passion. I'm also happy to have a place here to help me make the meal a complete success. Man I full as a tick!

    Grommet Mod For New ET-732

Bob, I just installed your mod (The Mann Grommit Mod). It worked great unlike the other mod that I tried. Any way, the probes fit well and give me plenty of cord length. I pushed some tin foil to to grommit to seal it. I have a brisket in the smoker now (yeah late start). But I'm chillin and...

Help!! What can I use as a Temporary fix until the front door assembly arrives??

Hmm. How about one of those Heavy duty Tin foil pans. You can cut the bottom to shape. You can get some wire to act like a giant twist tie to keep in in place (one on the top of the foil and one on the bottom of the foil).

    My first on the kettle

Next time she wants new shoes or a new dress you can mention the kettle and the cost of the kettle vs the cost of the shoes, dress or Yada Yada Yada. A spouse that rags (AKA Nagging) you for getting something that you like is a hard thing to live with. I know from experience. I love motorcycles...
