Full Cast Iron Griddle - 22.5" Kettle

Correct. I'm just being a neighbourly enabler. ;) [The email came from a supplier I'm subscribed to].

    SS Mini-Chimney

I don't know. I haven't used it yet. I don't really see the need for speed when lighting a chimney. I loaded it up earlier with 14 briqs and it was two-thirds full. I'll try & do a test-drive tomorrow using two Weber Natural Firelighters.

    SS Mini-Chimney

I've spent an age looking for a mini-chimney for lighting 12-15 briqs for a 14.5 WSM Minion start. I find the Weber Compact a little too big. [YMMV}. • Made from 1.5mm SS. It measures 8" H x 5" W. Made in England! 😯 Has a nice solid feel/weight to it. • The cylinder is riveted at three points...

    Ensalada de pollo grande!

Looks grate Richard, & thanks for the mention of the Santa Maria rub. I'll be making some of that.

Wings were great on the Vortex so I tried steak!

I've also used the Vortex™ to cook steaks. Works well. Yours look better than mine Rick. I needed a bit more char action on the steaks so I broke out this broiler gizmo, [this is on another cook].

    Coconut Charcoal

Thread resurrection. I have used coco-shell briqs extensively over the last few years. It beat regular briqs every day of the week. I did yesterday's Iberico Collar using Pro-Q Coco-shell briqs. Burns clean & hot. Very little ash. Grate for HnF & L&S. I've heard good things, from others...

    Bangers and Mash

^^^ What Richard said. That plated pic is epic! A classic example of British winter comfort food Dustin. 9/10. However, the use of rusk to make the Cumberland snorkers bumps your score up to 10/10!!

    Iberico Pork Collar

Cook went without issue. 250/260 all the way to 203. 10hrs later. It pulled beautifully, succulent with an excellent bark & yield. [Maybe a 1/3lb of gloopy stuff]. Have a bun on me. With a sriracha slaw. [Pickles, fries etc not in shot]. Thanks for looking.

    Iberico Pork Collar

Had this 6.5lb Iberico Pork Collar delivered from my butcher on Thursday, ready for "The Bullitt", [SWIDT?], tomorrow. The marbling is something else. The fat can be smoothed out with just the heat from your finger. Buttah! Trimmed & heavily seasoned with a 50/50 combo of SPOG & Memphis Dust...

Does anyone have any info on this?!?!? 22" Stealth Kettle

Bang on! I want one of those. Weber UK don't sell them. I've tried to buy one from Weber (US), but they don't seem to be able to accommodate me. :(

@John Burns Totally agree John. Wooden handles don't last so long. But we love all that old skool stuff. I want some of those shirts the guys are wearing from the 60s & 70s Weber catalogues. Far-out, solid & right on! Nostalgia, ain't what it used to be, eh? [Yogi Berra, et al].

    Gene Hackman - RIP

A bit late on this one. RIP 'Popeye'. Both "TFC's" & "March Or Die" were excellent, but "Prime Cut" with Lee Marvin & Sissy Spacek was my favourite. Brutal.

    Spreadable butter with avocado oil.

Instead of buying shop-bought rubbish, which contain "natural flavourings" - [whatever they are], you can easily make your own. High quality pure butter / High quality, pure sunflower oil, (or any other neutral flavoured oil). Add the oil slowly to softened butter to the spreadable consistency...

The taco shell handle was a safety stipulation......in Europe anyway. I see no reason why Weber couldn't release a taco shell with a wooden handle. [I put one on my JJ. It came with two metal inserts that the bail arm/slide-a-side snapped into. I don't recall from who or where I bought it].

You've only gone and fixed the dreaded WWWS - [Weber Wobbly Wheel Syndrome].....haven't you? ;)

Went to the way back machine last weekend.

That looks splendid Jeff. (y) [Achtung! @ 5pm, that wing is living on the edge....literally]. I love Vortex™ cooking. Set and forget......for 40 minutes anyway.

    The Humor Thread

I’ve just spent £300 hiring a limousine for the evening. Just had an email from the company saying it doesn’t come with a driver! Eh? So I’ve cancelled it. But they are now refusing to give me my money back! £300 down and nothing to chauffeur it!! . . . I'll get my coat.
