I just paid for a year's worth of forum hosting

Thanks, Chris! Much appreciated. Enjoy a beer on me. Will be firing up my 08 Genesis on Saturday, for the 1st time this year. Can’t thank you and everyone else who contributes, enough, for upping my grilling knowledge and skills to a functional and enjoyable level!

    Rotisserie Crispy Skin

Salt & Pepper, a little butter & paprika and 375° on the roti. That was a fat-*** chicken and the skin was good and crispy, as can be observed. Love, LOVE my sidewinder!

Bought out the old turkey fryer

On a rare occasion and only with French fries.

Bought out the old turkey fryer

Way to go, Timothy! I absolutely LOVE Schnitzel. Either veal or pork, with some German potato salad (the vinegary kind) or, occasionally, with French fries. I make mine during fall / winter.

    Replacement regulator and hose

Your comment was helpful as I have learned there is another quality option available at a less expensive price.

    Replacement regulator and hose

I didn’t say it was the only regulator but the hose length of the OEM one is the correct / preferred length.

    Replacement regulator and hose

This is definitely the correct hose and regulator for the 2007 - 2010 Genesis E/S 310 with side control knobs. It should also be the correct size for the 2011 - 2016 Genesis with front control knobs. Not sure if it’s the correct one for the Genesis 320 with side burner, though...

    Spinning a bird

That’s what it’s supposed to like like, and as long as it was cooked through, that’s a nice job.

    Looking for New Gas Grill

As I’m a BIG fan of the 2007 through 2010 E-W (sidewinder) models, I’d like to add the following for purposes of accuracy and hopefully helpfulness to anyone interested in 2007 through 2016 Genesis models. 2010 was the last model year (MY) for the side control knobs with E-W burners...

Post a picture of yourself! *****

Me, September, 1985, with my Dad’s 1979, 22.5” Weber kettle (still have it and those silver tongs hanging on the side of the grill to move hot coal around - still hanging in the same place!) and in April, 2024 with my green 2008 Genesis E-310 and my newly acquired copper 2009 Genesis E-320...

    Ouch!

That sh*t hurts, man! But, nothing worth doing is ever easy. Loved that glowing hot cauldron that burned the tats onto his arms. Now I’ll be humming that melody all weekend!

    Ouch!

Did that with the Master Touch Premium charcoal kettle hinged lid last summer, while doing 3 other things at the same time. M**th**F***er(!!!) did that ever leave some painful burn marks for a week!

    Weber connect smart hub.

I’ve been using the Connect for a couple of years and like it more than the iGrill. Don’t use the app all too often as I know at what temp. I’m going to turn / pull food off the grill. I do like the Temp Spike app more.

    Two briskets, one 22.5" WSM

Chris Allingham just did a YT video a few days ago about low and slow temperature cooking.

New Weber Accessory? XL Floor Protection Mat

https://www.weber.com/US/en/griddle/griddle-accessories/xl-floor-protection-mat/3400134.html I don’t know if I missed this earlier or whether it’s brand new? Weber has this listed under their griddle accessories section. I do know large floor mats have been available through Weber overseas...

    NGD: 2009 Weber E-320

I’d like to give TVWBB forum members Dave Moser and JimV a BIG SHOUTOUT for being really awesome in helping me to acquire another sidewinder. The story goes like this; Jim put an E-310 (2007-2010 model) Special Edition sidewinder (in Cinnamon) he had refurbished up for sale on FBMP early last...

New to me restored Weber EP310 Custom

Congrats on your rescue! LOVE the “sidewinder” (east-west burners)! Great for rotisserie cooking! Enjoy!
