Help!!! Ok, it’s not that bad, but still... HELP

Ok... I doubt your cooking (or the ribs) had anything to do with the wife's kidney stone. Lets get that out of the way right there. If they are "boneless" beef ribs, then they are probably from the plate (like shortribs) where the meat sits on top of the bones as opposed beef spare ribs where...

    Budweiser Logo

Pretty much every logo on a kettle I've seen is "baked on" ; or part of the ceramic coating (not a sticker). So, acetone will have no affect. Honestly, if it bothers you that much: 1) I'd try to sell it and get something you want (seriously...there are logo collectors who will pay for it...

How much is a Weber Kettle Ranch RB-600 worth?

I'll add to DaveW's comment. It depends on condition of the cooking grate and the kettle overall. It also depends on whether or not someone wants an old mothership Ranch compared to a newer one. There are a lot of features on a newer one that some people prefer over old. Kind of like...

    Charcoal grate mods for lump

Howard, Bob's the man! If anyone else is having trouble picturing it, just "cross-cross" the two grates and you're good to go. Some tack them together; some use wire. You could lay them one on top of each other and that works too.

    What is this?!?

A few guys like those for pizza cookers because of the top vent.

    WSM 22" center section

Lol...yeah. Dropped "by $50" and "to $50" mean two different numbers. Still a great deal!

    WSM 22" center section

    Dropped by $50....from $80? So $30 shipped?

    Smoking on the 26er

Oh I am loving this! Another reason why I don't need a 22WSM...and I'll love to continue cooking on my 26's. That's going to be my next rib cook. Thanks Dustin. How did you light it? Minion? Soo's Donut?

    Scored a 22" & an 18"

Bravo! Excellent price for the pair. I'm guessing they are 2008-2009? The 18" may be a little older than that. Either way...killer. Have fun cooking ;)

Decent price for (unused) used 18”

Good luck! For a pair that's an excellent deal!

Decent price for (unused) used 18”

Personally, $250 isn't a deal NIB and I'll explain why. You can go to Lowe's and use a $50 off of $250 coupon, plus another 5-10% with a MyLowes card (depending on their percentage promotion). My dad's was $230 new...from Lowes. Around here...I can get 18WSM's for around $50 used, but their...

The wonderful hunk of meat stall

Bump up the temps and quit playin' around. ;) Every meat I cook has at least a grate temp of 275. Some more, some wrapped (some not).

    The brisket won't fit.

I have never met a brisket that didn't fit on an 18WSM. ;) Glad you have "seen the light." Now enjoy the fact you can finish that on one ring of fuel.

Picked Up A Cool Old 18in Black Kettle

That is a rad little 18"-- have fun cooking on it!

    I don’t need a 26” kettle

Bummer...that's a great price! Looks like that one was one of the first few years of the newer 26's (black bucket, pop-in "taco").

    WSM 18.5 - Salvageable?

Excellent buy at $30. I picked up a newer model for $30 last year and its my favorite WSM to cook on. A friend of mine just got an older 18WSM in nicer shape for $25.

Lump or briquettes for Hunsaker Vortex

    I am curious as well.

    Top or bottom rack?

Top rack is all I use, but the bottom runs just a little cooler, IMHO.
