Thanks all. I will likely drop the seller a line. I also feel better about engaging in some discussion about price with the info you've provided.

    Found This Used....Help Please

Hey guys/gals Found this Performer used in a local classified. It's been for sale for quite some time now but at $400 I'm not surprised. Had some email contact with the seller and I think he feels he's sitting on a real piece of history and was not willing to talk offers. Anyways I'm just...

Windbreak And More Room For Ribs

Great work........I may borrow the "mid-rack" mod idea some day myself unless you've got a patent :). Oh, nice Ram 2500...Cummins?

    Weber's New WSM Grommet

Has anyone got one of these new rubber grommets and tried to retrofit install it into an older WSM? Just curious as I just bought my 18.5" and at some point will be doing a probe wire mod. Thanks.

    Craglist Q

Nice find - for only a few clams and a lot of elbow grease you've got a great little grill. Our Q120 is going on it's 7th camping season and other than cleaning out the burner holes a few times, and adding a lid thermo and cover I haven't done a thing to it for repair or replaced a part.

    Gas grill question / advice

Since I started using charcoal I actually sold my big Napoleon gasser and instead bought a smaller Q320 for quick dogs/burgs etc....or if DW wants to cook while I'm not home. Having said that......If I only had a gasser I'd get the side burner for sure for only $50 more. Sautéed...

To Foil or Not to Foil

OK so for the limited cooks I've done on my WSM I've foiled the water pan. Makes me wonder if just using the pan alone is really that much clean up? And do you really need to make the water pan spotless? I mean is it not just OK to pour out the water, scrape the heavier grease into our "green...

The brown truck came yesterday evening...

From a new WSM owner to another congrats. Did my first cook this past weekend (6 racks of ribs) and they were the best I ever cranked out - and that was with a real basic rub and sauce to keep my first cook simple. I was so impressed with how the WSM hit (and held) a good smoking temp for the...

    Rye Whiskey Recommendations

Crown Royal would be my first choice - 40 Creek which is produced local to me in Grimsby ON. is a fine whiskey as well - especially their Copper Pot. Collingwood is another one I've been meaning to try and have heard good things about. These I reserve for just "neat" or "on the rocks".....if you...

    Q320 Best Deals?

As an owner of a Q120 and Q320 - the 320 is too big IMHO of course, to be used as a camping/tailgating grill. IF you have a pick up and you don't mind travelling with it full height I guess it would work. The 200/220 seems to be a nice saw-off but I have heard the same issue about not enough...

    32 Quart Pot in Canada???

Well Mexican stores maybe - but the asian population in Toronto and therefore the number of asian grocery stores/markets/vendors etc.... is huge. If I have to hit the bricks I will but hoping someone from the Greater Toronto Area will have a specific store they know of......hoping ;).

    32 Quart Pot in Canada???

Hey guys Has anyone been able to score one of these here? I've tried Walmart - nope, Target - nope, Amazon.ca - nope, Canadian Tire - nope. Toronto (not far from me) has plenty of asian and mexican grocery stores but too many - wouldn't know where to start. Hoping someone here has found a...

Which Q to get, 100 or 200 series

I'm with Davo with the exception I've never owned anything in the "200" series so I can't speak to those units. We've had a Q120 for 5-6 years now for camping and it's a great little grill - I echo Davo's (and others here) praise for the 120. Just this past Easter we were out camping and a buddy...
