Picked up a couple Striploin Steaks from my local butcher today. Rubbed them with some Olive Oil, Salt and Pepper.[/IMG] It was a nice night for grilling, according the Fastest Orange Thermapen there is... 34 degrees, about (or is that A-Boot) 2 degrees for us Canadians. [/IMG]...

    Ceramic Bakeware

I agree with Timothy... If you DO use it on the WSM, foil the outside. Although, I too, hold sentimental value to a lot of things, I feel that if this was be hardly used, that person up above would be wondering why it's sitting in a cupboard. I am sure that your sister up above would be...

    14.5 and long cooks

Would really like to cook on a 14" WSM. For me on my 18", I get smaller butts, in the 5 to 7 pound range. I find that I can start at 7am, cook at 250+, get good smoke and awesome flavor. Try cutting the butt in half, it'll take less time. Foil at 160 or the color you like. You can cut your...

    smoking in low temps

I recalled this article about cold weather smoking - http://bbq.about.com/od/barbecuehelp/a/aa010706a.htm Lots of tips in there; but like most have said here, anything that is fire resistant, like a water heater blanket will work fine! Let us know how it turns out! CM

How many ribs will fit? (WSM 22")

Yup... That is what I would do! Use your ribs racks for 6 on each cooking grate and then stack them when you foil them. Then, back to the racks for the final hour... Good luck! CM
