    Smoked Rabbit

No nothing in particular, I actually only had rabbit for the first time a few months ago. An Italian guy at work gave me his mom's recipe and I tried it and liked it quite a bit. Have done it a few times now and am really looking for something kinda new. Any ideas or favorite recipe would be...

    Smoked Rabbit

Has anyone ever tried to smoke a rabbit and if so do you have a good recipe? I usually do rabbit on the stove at a low simmer in a large covered pan with a variety of herbs and spices in a gravy like sauce. As rabbit is very lean I was wondering if it would work on the WSM.

    Where is the wood?

    Where is the wood?

Hi neighbour.I actually work in Guelph myself. Let me start by saying I am NO expert but I can't see why lumber cut-offs would be a problem as long as they haven't been treated with anything. To the best of my knowledge most lumber isn't treated and the only difference would be the lack of...

    Where is the wood?

Collin I'm not exactly sure where Prince George is in B.C. but don't they grow a large amount of apples there(B.C.) somewhere? If there is an orchard close by ask for some of the cuttings they take from the trees or maybe they have a tree they cut down. Apple wood makes for great BBQ. Also you...

    Beef Ribs

You should be able to get them from your butcher. Somtimes I have to actually order them and it may be a week or so before they become available.

    Mothers Day Ribs

I used Chris G recipe for ribs a few weeks ago and they turned out excellent. Pretty much th 3-2-1 method . Liked the rub and ribs were good. Thought about doing the Britu method this time and was just wondering what the consensus is .

Chicken - Does the can make a difference?

I have to agree with Kevin. I tried beer can chicken once and found it to be more hassle than it was worth. I had a hard time getting the chicken to stay upright and not spill the beer. I have done several chickens on my Weber kettle and have had very good results by adding my favorite rub and...

    A rookie rib question

Thanx Rob that's kinda what I figured I should do. Have you heard of this "seasoning process" from the butcher before? Is it common for ribs to be packaged like this?
