    thanks Mr. Lampe! never brined before, but will try it out this afternoon. will definitely go easy on the salt after i take them out. my small local grocery has them on sale for $1.49 lb... so it is a great week to try, try, try.

    what do you clean them up with Brian? i have used easy off only on the lids, but have never put it on the actual bowls. my lil family grew quickly and i need to take a weekend to just give them a good thorough cleaning.
