    Two-stage burgers

Like a few others in the thread, I always reverse sear my burgers. Take them to a temp in the 120s then sear over high heat, try to take them off around 145 due to the carryover. Also allows for a beer or two during the cook.

    Problem with Weber regulators

Thanks all. These are leakers straight out of the box. I too turn off the tank after every use, just that I'm on 10 plus years with the gasser and never had an issue until the last two. Seems to be another QC issue with Weber... Hopefully they fix it.

    Problem with Weber regulators

I've had two leakers in a row, where the black coupler attaches to the regulator. Weber CS even admitted they have a problem but no recall or anything? Anyone have an issue?

Advice sought for selecting and storing smoke wood

Love pecan and agree with some suggestions - I hv a local tree guy, every so often I just text him let him know that next time he gets some pecan he can just leave a few logs in the driveway. Haven't paid for smoke wood in years. For storage - after I have split, I put in an HD 5 gallon...

    Frozen Burger Guidance

Thanks all for the feedback. I'm still on the search. I've been looking online - basically trying to ID the best "food service" burger without much luck. There are the typical vendors - RD, GFS, Cargill. And some premium vendors. Like most - I've made my own for years, but it's just...

    Frozen Burger Guidance

Thanks Clint, appreciate your experience. I'm a big Costco guy, overlooked them in my summary. Like, but not in same category as restaurant depot Angus. I'd place them a notch below Holten Chop House, but better value.

    E320 Repair help

QUOTE=LMichaels;759635]Jim if you're referring to the 2 screws that look as though they're holding the burners down do yourself a favor. DO NOT tough them. They're not there to do what you think.. The burners are held in with 2 thumb screws under the control panel on the right hand side of the...

    "Haze" removal from kettle lid

Robert - I've got a '92 redhead that has faded and a younger standard issue black that has the haze. The haze I've used windex and steel wool and it looks like new. For the old redhead, nothing works...I've tried everything with no luck. Not sure if that helps, but I think there is a...

    E320 Repair help

Thanks, my manifold actually has standard nuts as opposed to wing nuts or thumb screws. Assume whoever put it together goofed. Good news is they are not at all rusted.... will be ordering the parts soon and post some before and afters!

    E320 Repair help

Wow, thank you so much for the guidance! I took a peek under the control panel, so we are talking about the screws connecting each tube to the manifold?
