Is the cajunbandit ring shorter than the weber roti ring?

thanks Andy! thanks Steve that is a good point. I have not seen it in person, I am going to try and find it locally, but you are probably right about the thickness. Let me know if you get it if you can feel the difference. Thanks for your time Andy and Steve.

that's ok Andy,...I do think it is shorter but obviously from reading other threads it doesn't appear to be a problem with the folks that use it.

Is the cajunbandit ring shorter than the weber roti ring?

Thanks Andy,..I found my answer on a thread from 2012 The Cajun Bandit ring is shorter than the weber ring. Still trying to finger out if it makes a big difference in terms of cooking too hot or a problem with temperature control.

Is the cajunbandit ring shorter than the weber roti ring?

Yes but it appears that over all the height of the Cajun bandit is shorter than the weber ring which would bring the food on the rotisserie closer tomthe dome of the lid is this true? Thanks for your response Andy.

What to do with a pork loin

Exactly what I did on Saturday 4.5 lb on the rotisserie. If doing it on a kettle don't forget to put a drip pan under it, I added some white wine to my drip pan, it made a great sauce.

Is the cajunbandit ring shorter than the weber roti ring?

I just read an article on BBQ Dry rubs.com that webers rotisserie ring is new and improved. It is still the same part number but the box will say that it fits the performer. Do I need a gas grill?

I have a small gas grill but mostly use my performer or platinum. I use royal oak lump and weber starter cubes to get it going. Honestly Stephen, try the royal oak lump and the starter cubes, it is fast! On any particular day that I am grilling (with the exception of rain which I don't grill in...

    BBQ and weather

Bill, I'm with you. I am not too far from you. Even staying under my patio umbrella, it was way too hot and humid. I'm with John, staying inside with the air conditioner and cooking. Can't wait for the heat and humidity to break this weekend. I'm going to try a prime rib roast on my rotisserie.

Question about the counterweight on my Genesis rotisserie

As all of the above is mentioned, is the reason why I bought an EZ Que. No problems with the baskets and no counter weight to fuss with. But you guys are much more mechanically inclined than I am :)
