    Nobody Using Q Grills?

My Q3200 gets used as my daily driver as it uses less fuel than the Genny's. If I need more space the S330 comes into play or the 3000 for rotisserie. Q120 and Q220 for camping every year.

    Hello from Vancouver, Canada!

Welcome from Nova Scotia Jon. That will make a nice project and you will have a wonderful grill when finished. I agree with Bill, Amazon.ca has a lot of parts if they are not available locally. Good luck and we would love to see pictures of your progress.

Seasoning Ground Beef for Vegetable Soup

I have a different take on this. I buy six lbs of extra lean ground beef when it is on sale and brown it up in a huge frying pan I have. I add two packets of low salt beef bouillon to 3/4 cup of hot water along with two shots of Worcestershire sauce, a couple drops of liquid smoke, some...

Weber Rotisserie Kit for 22 Inch Kettle

Late to this party, but like some of the others, I have the OnlyFire and it works great. Fits better than the Weber one my neighbour has and much cheaper too.

    Heat diffuser for stove

I am sure it would be DanHoo but I have an old beat up Silver C that I use the side burner on for that. It is much easier to clean it than that crappy one on the 330. 😆

    Heat diffuser for stove

I got one of the enamelled 6 3/4 inch ones for Christmas. Haven’t used it yet but I plan on using it on the Genesis 330 side burner as it runs too hot for almost anything except boiling water. Glad to hear all the reviews on here.

Adding casters to Gen 1 and/or Juniors

Like Bruce, I take them out and drill from the inside to outside. If you take them out you can check for rust in the leg and treat it. If there is none you can at least spray some Rust Check, Fluid Film etc in there to prevent it from ever rusting.

Will it fit: Genesis E-330 in a 2012 Subaru Outback?

I don’t have to ask Jon. Had my daughter and her boyfriend pick up a Silver C for me and told them to take the hood off first. Since it would fit in the SUV without, they didn’t. One side the hood broke, the other side the firebox. Even sadder, I was going to refurbish it and give it to her...

Eating our way through the freezer

Joan, I think food stored too long in the freezer looses some flavour, especially if it is frost free, but I have no scientific facts to prove it. I also think my tastebuds are losing their sensitivity as I age. My kids comment on tastes in food at mealtime that I don’t even taste. And some...

    Snack Addiction

Kit Kat chocolate bars. I always have them in the house. As I have gotten older I have switched to the mini ones but it still satisfies the addiction.

Question about Legs for Weber Smokey Joe (Pre-90s)

Welcome Joey. You could drill a hole in each of the leg tabs and screw or bolt a metal pie plate to them. That would probably give the rigidity you need. Also I would put small flat washers on the outside where the legs go through the bowl and fender washers on the inside to spread out the force...

    Hey from Brisbane, Australia :)

Welcome from the East coast of Canada. Looks like you have caught the dreaded Weberitis, which is incurable. Refurbishing these wonderful old grills is a great hobby and it looks like you are well on your way. Enjoy it!
