    Pizza stones crack if used in the gas grill?

    I’ve also had 2 stones for many years and have had no cracks. I leave them in the oven thinking their mass helps stabilize the temps. Look for pizza stones that aren’t made in China and I bet you’ll be just fine.

    I stuffed a yardbird with lemon, rosemary and garlic. The plan was to throw it on the rotisserie. Then I found some good looking asparagus at the store so plans changed. The outside of the bird got a rub with SPG turmeric and paprika and I cooked it between 2 baskets of coals. Gus went on top...

    Put a dry skillet over the coals next time and dry roast the tomatillos, onions, garlic and jalapeños. A little char is good. Try some Cojtija cheese as well.
