    Cleaning a Cast Iron Skillet

Flax seed, grape seed, canola oil, lard and beeswax, any combination of those seem to be the thing to use. Although I haven't tried it yet, I'd recommend adding the bit of beeswax to any of the other substances named as long as the latter have been well preheated.

    Cleaning a Cast Iron Skillet

I plan to continue making my own CI seasoning. What proportion for Grapeseed, canola oil and beeswax would you recommend? And here's an article that would contradict what you state concerning flaxseed oil.

    Cleaning a Cast Iron Skillet

Perhaps mechanical breakdown is necessary. All my CI is reseasoned in beeswax, flaxseed oil aka linseed oil, and then there are grape seed and canola oils.

    Removing hard water spots

To remove water spots on the exterior of both my WSM and Kettle, would an acetic acid solution be used? It's the same stuff used for cleaning the insides of espresso machines and Keurigs. Basically Keurig brand descaling solution?

    Butcher Paper Question

I've always used Reynolds Freezer Paper to wrap and store my smoked bacon slabs in the freezer. However I'm finding that it is too narrow for my application. I see that there are wider freezer papers available. Which ones are recommended?
