If the Burner is bad you can get just that (Part # is 10401). If somehow ash got all the way down to where the Hose connects to the burner and that "orfice" is clogged Why not wash it or run a needle in and out of it? I cant see the hose or regulator going bad.

I think that those are the newest models, they call all the new ones 2005 because that was year they made changes. Most likely the date code when get it would be 2008. I know most stores sell them for $299. I would say thats a good deal. Etronics has them shipped for a little cheaper but...

Very nice. I think Im a little jealous. It would take a custom plumbing job to make one tank work. Basically I would buy an adapter hose for the Small propane tank and a 3/8 Y and splice the 3 hoses using clamps. It would work since the Performer and the burner have there own control valves.

I found a NG grill on craigs list but I want to use propane. I know lots of people switch the other way. I would like to trade valves and hoses. Maybe someone converted to NG and has the old parts just sitting around? Please post any info Thanks Thor

Nice Heat shield for the lid handle

Its not convenience as much as the cost and the taste of lighter fluid. No waiting for the nasty smell to burn away. Sometimes I get my coals going, push them to the side for indirect grilling and put my little smoker box over the flame to get the chips smoking. IT works really good.
