    Rubs in Canada

Tom, Well Seasoned in Langley has all sorts of rubs, sauces and injections including Plowboys. I do believe they also ship to other parts of Canada but since you're in Vancouver you should check it out

    Mixed (read poor) results

My guess is too long. I did 2 8 pound butts lower grate and 10 pound brisket top grate this weekend @ 250 and butts where ready after 9 hours although I did foil after it hit 160 deg internal.

    Stumps vs FEC?

Ryan, I have WSM's and an FEC 100. The FEC is great for capacity and ease of use. Ive done 14 8 pound butts at once and the taste/texture was great. The FEC uses about a pound of pellets per hour @ 225 deg. It holds enough pellets for a 20 hour cook no problem. Just set your temp and thats it...

First time two butts. Does cooking time change?

But keep in mind you will probably go through more charcoal. Well thats what I have found. It will probably take more energy to keep a constant temp with 2 big pieces of meat cooking than one. I've really noticed it when doing 4 butts and using the guru to temp control

I wrap aluminum tape around the bottom and mid sections as well as around the door as I dont use water and can...

How long does your charcoal burn?

Different question about charcoal but same topic. On my 18.5 I can get about 18 hours @ 225 from one load of charcoal. On my 22 also @ 225 most I can get is 14 hours. Is that about right?
