Lane, My mouth is watering! What great results. I'm without a doubt making a chuck roll my next cook! I'm so glad I have a porkbutt and chicken in the smoker right now or I might freak out. Good Job,

    Renowned Mr. Brown Question

I just let it simmer for about 15 min and then brought it out and put it on the smoker to keep it warm. I use offset smoker box with pot rest.

Bobby Flay today on "Boy Meets Grill"

I like Bobby Flay but this afternoon when I saw him give a pork butt a steam bath in chicken stock, only season with salt and pepper, and then finish it off in a skillet (after pulled) it really bothered me. All in about four hours. I'm just glad there is this forum. If I would have seen that...

Memorial Day - The Season Is Offically Open!

It's 7:30 and the grill is quickly reaching 220. Just thought I'd pop in to see what others are doing this AM. At 12:00 there is going to be a seven hour marathon on BBQ and Grilling with Bobby Flay. Great entertainment while smokin pork butt. My kids are in for a real treat!

    Using Digital Thermometer...

Well it's been 72 hrs since I purchased my smoker (offset firebox type) and I picked up a Weber Style digital remote thermometer this afternoon. I used it for my first "real cook" of country style ribs and I was not at all pleased with the performance. As soon as I stuck it in the temp jumped...

    "Country-style" ribs

Hello All, I finally got my offset firebox smoker this Mother's day! What a great gift for "my wife". Just what she always wanted! my old barrel pit has seen better days so when I went to grill some Mother's day steaks she just about died and said she wasn't eating anything off of that rig. So...
