    Bacon

Few questions/thoughts... Skin... I've read both keeping it on and taking it off... I took it off... threw it away... but I was wondering... has anyone fried the cured/smoked skin into pork rinds? Would it work? I just made my first batch of the maple bacon smoked with some apple wood...

Where to get grates for '09 Summit

Are they rusted through? If its an '09 they should be under warranty... 5 years on the stainless grates and flavorizer bars...

Low-Carb Rib or Sauce: Recipes Wanted...

Does anyone have any good sauce? Or perhaps, better yet... a great rub, perhaps with a bit of spice to it that is good on ribs that you don't sauce.... I started a low carb diet and definitely am not giving up my q... Thanks for any tips/suggestions... I plan to cook up a few racks of baby...

    New (used) performer and questions

both of my tanks are new (exchangable) tanks. Any chance the performers starter would work with NG? I have a NG connection on the side of my house. If so, would the original regulator work with it, just get a hose to make the connection from the house to the regulator?

    New (used) performer and questions

Then I'll just buy a new acme nut (OPD style) and put it on the old regulator, and then use one of the two 20 lb tanks I already have. No need to spend $50 on 5 lb, when I have 2 20s and 20s are cheaper anyway.

    New (used) performer and questions

This wasn't too rusted. There is no real apparent rust on the kettle itself, just a few dents I'd like to paint over to prevent rusting. Some of the screws/hardware are rusted, the burner was rusted and the ash cleaner was rusted. The ash bucket/holder parts were perfectly fine. So, then I...

    New (used) performer and questions

I just purchased a used red performer. After talking to Weber, I believe its a '94 model. It was in fairly good condition, has a few dings/dents and I may end up trying to touch up the paint in those places. I had to order a new cooking grate, new burner assembly, and cleaner system (have to...

    WSM Stacker

So I have a WSM now and have done many cooks on it and am contemplating a second one for larger gatherings + going into competition... how does the ProQ Frontier compare to the WSM? All in all it seems to possible be as nice. Anyone have both and want to chime in?
