    Getting Forced a Different Direction

I have a first generation Traeger Timberline 800. I have not had any problems. Well built. However, Traeger did themselves a disservice by offering lesser quality grills via Costco and TV infomercials.

    Traeger Ironwood vs EX6

I have a first generation Traeger Timberline and love it. I have had no issues. Well insulated, holds temperatures as set, nice features like slide out all stainless grates. I also like the footprint on the Timberline; they went up to get more space vs. adding length. It appears Traeger has...

Partial Review on PK360 - Low & Slow Pork Butt

Very nice. Like you, I found it a bit challenging to know how much of the bottom vent is open when adjusted. Good solution you came up with. I also found that I was making too big of a fire when trying to cook at a low temperature. The PK360’s ability to maintain heat allows for a smaller fire.

    Reheating brisket

Assuming it’s sliced, pour just enough beef broth to cover the bottom of a wide bottomed sauté pan with a lid. Warm the broth very gently, do not boil. Lay your slices in single layer and cover. Flip the slices after 5 to 7 minutes and repeat. I have done this several times and have been...

    Mini Turbotisserie?

You don’t see many of these for sale. I have one and they are fun to cook on. Great way to feed a lot of people. He has quite a few optional skewers, so he easily has spent $1000, but it’s going to be hard to sell at that price.

    Check out this one!

I have a post mounted NG Broilmaster that is about 16 years old. Last summer I replaced the grates, bow tie burner (free via manufacturer warranty- rust) and switched to the ceramic tiles. Hums right along. That double grill you have is very cool. Never seen before. I also like MHP...

    Pellet grill excitement

Correction: I meant to write that Weber sent TK a new Smokefire. Also, watching BBM’s meltdown regarding his Smokefire was funny. It’s just a grill...

    Pellet grill excitement

wonder if Weber and BBM have made up after he returned his SF. Of course they made up. Weber sent him a new grill.😉

    Toyota Prius

My current employer provided car is a 2020 Toyota RAV 4 Hybrid. It is an excellent car. Lots of room, comfortable, good in the snow and built for roadtrips. I average about 33 mpg in mostly city driving, yet it is not sluggish when you need to move. All the latest safety and convenience...

    Genesis II vs Napoleon Prestige

The BBQ Fireplace store where I have bought numerous grills through the years, including lots of Weber’s, stopped selling Weber grills because Weber allowed the large chain box stores to discount their grills more than he could, yet he stocked parts, provided service, etc. Napolean is now one of...

    Genesis II vs Napoleon Prestige

Two years ago I sold my 12 year old Weber Summit (650 or 670) and replaced it with a Napolean Prestige Pro 650. As you stated, Napolean has several features that caught my attention, such as lights inside the hood, a deeper top shelf, magnetic closures for the cabinet drawers and what appears...

    New Grill//Repeat Dinner

I love my PK360. Being made of cast aluminum, it holds heat for along time and makes it easy to lock in your temperatures. Also, great weather resistance.

    If you had...

I would recommend a Broilmaster or an MHP. Both are made here with quality materials. Cast aluminum grill heads, stainless steel grates and burners. Very good warranties and both companies have been around for a long time. The only downside to their grills is they only make two burner...

Purchasing a pellet pooper soon. EX6 or RT-700

To add a bit more confusion to your choices have you considered a Grilla Grills or a Traeger Timberline? I have been very pleased with both. The Grilla Grilla as of now does not have Wi-Fi, but they just announced that that will be a available Summer/Fall of this year. Good company to work...
